The TGI 3-stage RO Systems Provide universal application, and can be used with both chlorinated or non-chlorinated water.
Choose either the TFC membrane unit for non-chlorinated water, or select the CTA membrane unit (for less) to allow contact with chlorine in the water.
[Note: TFC membranes are chlorine ''intolerant'' and cannot come into contact with chlorine. Chlorine will destroy a TFC membrane unless it has an additional filter to remove the chlorine before reaching the membrane. In a 3 stage unit like this, a TFC membrane (which has a higher rejection rate of many impurities) can only be used in non-chlorinated water.]NSF certification on the TFC membrane unit, system tested and certified to ANSI/NSF standard 58.
